There are specific treatments that can be done to improve the "puppet lines" that descend from the nose, forehead wrinkles and "crow's feet" and mild fullness of the lower face and under the chin. These treatments include skin excisions, injections and facial suction. If these areas are of concern to you, we can discuss them during your visit.

Each of these can be done individually or in conjunction with any of the other procedures designed to enhance the face, and all may be performed in the office. Because plastic surgery is a continually evolving field, new procedures are constantly being developed. If in the past you have been told that a certain feature cannot be changed, ask me about it. Something new may now be available.

Collagen Injections

I use both Collagen and Fascian for wrinkle and groove injections. Both are natural substances that are injected into the skin to help fill out lines and depressions. They usually last about 2 to 6 months, though some people need re-injection sooner.

BOTOX® Cosmetic injections

BOTOX® is used for the lines between the eyebrows and the "crow's feet." BOTOX® actually paralyzes the muscles that cause these wrinkles for a 4 – 6 month period of time. These injections can be repeated indefinitely.

Facial Suction

Facial suction produces subtle changes in the lower face and neck for those people who are don't need a facelift. It is done through three small (1/4") incisions in front of the ears and under the chin. It takes about a week for bruising to go away and 3 – 4 months to see the final results.

Skin Excisions

Some of the other overhanging skin and pouches on the face can be excised leaving fine scars that fall in natural skin creases and are inconspicuous.
